On check out from your hotel, a driver will pick you up and take you to Roma Termini to catch a train to the Stazione Santa Maria Novella, Florence, where another driver will greet you and complete your onward journey to the Hotel de la Ville. Later, you will embark on a walking tour of Florence, discovering its secular heritage and architectural evolution as a city, from the Roman to the medieval centuries, the glorious Renaissance period, as well as modern-day Florence.
All in one day you will visit Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, as well as enjoying the local ‘vino’ and lunchtime delicacies in the glorious Chianti hills. You’ll begin the day in the medieval hilltop village of Monteriggioni before moving onto Siena where you’ll explore the Siena Cathedral and Piazza del Campo. After visiting San Gimignano, you’ll head to the famous Chianti region in the Tuscan countryside to enjoy a wine tasting in a vineyard.
