Built in the 12th century, Monreale Cathedral is one of the greatest examples of Norman architecture. As well as the stunning mosaics of the cathedral and the 200-columned abbey cloister, you can explore the medieval village of Monreale before returning to Palermo.

It is a stretch of 1.5-kilometres of soft, golden sand fringed by incredibly clear waters and lies on the edge of Cefalu town. In the evening, you can have dinner at a typical local restaurant.
