You will be picked at Venice Marco Polo airport and transported via water taxi to Hotel Arlecchino in Venice city centre. The rest of the day will be free for you to enjoy however you wish, whether you want to relax at your hotel or head out to explore the city on your own. In the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy a gondola ride down the shining Grand Canal and inner canals crossed by tiny bridges.
Today you will be treated to a panoramic boat tour of the islands of Capri and Anacapri, giving you the opportunity to discover scenery that cannot be fully appreciated on land, such as the sea grottoes (white, green and blue grottoes), the Natural Arch, Villa Curzio Malaparte and many others. After the Capri boat tour, the cruise will stop at the island, where you will have free time to explore the island before heading back to Amalfi.

Today you will be transferred to your hotel in Saorrento. Today is a free day to explore the city of Sorrento and the surrounding countryside. The day is completely free to spend as you wish, you may want to hike up the glorious Mount Vesuvius, visit Piazza Tasso which is one of the most popular areas of Sorrento or splash some cash at Via San Renato, the colourful weekly street market. Alternatively, you may just want to relax on the beach, of which there are many to choose from.
Today, you’ll travel from Sorrento to Rome with a stop to explore the ancient city of Pompeii which lay undiscovered for 1,500 years en route. Buried after an eruption by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, this tour of the Pompeii archaeological site takes you through the ruins located on Via Villa dei Misteri. After exploring the Vatican City first, you’ll cross Piazza della Repubblica to see the Fountain of the Nyands, then continue to see the Trevi Fountain, La Colonna di Marco Aurelio, and the Palazzo di Montecitorio, which was designed by Bernini.
